19. Use of Website
Lettuce Eat grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to access and browse our website for personal, non-commercial purposes only. This licence does not constitute a transfer of ownership of any content or materials found on the site.
Under this licence, you are expressly prohibited from:
- Copying, reproducing, or adapting any content for commercial use or public display.
- Attempting to reverse-engineer, decompile, or extract any software or code powering this website.
- Removing or altering any copyright notices, branding, or proprietary markings from the site's materials.
- Redistributing or mirroring any content from this website on an external server or platform.
This licence terminates automatically upon any breach of these conditions, or may be revoked by Lettuce Eat at its discretion. Upon termination, all downloaded or saved materials must be permanently deleted.
20. Content Accuracy
While we strive to keep all content on lettuceeat.in accurate and current, we cannot guarantee that every page — including nutritional information, pricing, and menu details — is free from typographical or photographic inaccuracies at all times. Lettuce Eat reserves the right to update, correct, or remove any content at any time without prior notice.
21. Medical Disclaimer
Lettuce Eat is not a medical institution and does not provide clinical dietary advice. Our meal plans are designed by qualified nutrition professionals with a focus on clean, high-protein eating — but they are not a substitute for medical consultation.
Subscribers with pre-existing medical conditions, chronic illnesses, or specific clinical dietary requirements must consult their treating physician or registered dietitian before commencing any Lettuce Eat meal plan. All clients are asked to disclose their complete medical and dietary history during onboarding, and it is the client's responsibility to ensure this information is accurate and complete.
Lettuce Eat shall not be liable for any adverse health events experienced by a subscriber during the course of their meal plan subscription.
22. Code of Conduct
Lettuce Eat is built on a culture of respect — for our food, our clients, and our team. We expect all subscribers to engage with our staff and delivery personnel in a courteous, professional manner at all times.
Lettuce Eat reserves the right to immediately terminate an active subscription if a subscriber engages in abusive, threatening, or disrespectful behaviour toward any member of our team. In such cases, any eligible refund will be processed on a pro-rata basis for unused meals only.
23. Meal Preparation Standards
Every Lettuce Eat meal is prepared fresh daily in our Moti Nagar kitchen — with zero maida, zero refined oils, and zero refined sugar. Each meal is built to client-specific macros and dietary preferences communicated during onboarding.
Given the daily volume of orders and the complexity of personalised preparation, there may be rare instances of human error despite our multi-stage quality checks. We request your patience and are committed to continuously raising the bar on our service standards.
24. Compensation Policy
Lettuce Eat will offer a resolution or corrective action exclusively in the following situations:
- Delivery of a meal that was not ordered (incorrect meal dispatch).
- Delivery of a meal containing an ingredient explicitly flagged as an allergen by the subscriber — but only where this was disclosed during a paid Personalised Consultation at the time of onboarding.
Compensation will not be provided for:
- Subjective feedback regarding the taste, seasoning, or flavour profile of a meal.
- Personal preference changes that were not communicated before the cut-off deadline.
- Allergen or ingredient concerns raised by subscribers who did not purchase a Personalised Consultation during onboarding and subsequently made unilateral changes to their plan.
Issue Reporting — Wrong, Damaged, or Unsafe Meal
All issues must be reported to our support team within 2 hours of delivery. Reports submitted beyond this window will not be eligible for any resolution or compensation. Every valid complaint must include:
- Clear photographs and/or a video clearly showing the issue
- Full order details (subscriber name, plan, date of delivery)
Complaints submitted without supporting evidence will not be processed. Lettuce Eat will acknowledge valid complaints within 24 hours and aim to resolve them within 3–5 business days.
25. Allergy & Medical Meal Modifications
Allergen and medical meal modifications are available exclusively to subscribers who have purchased a Personalised Consultation during the onboarding process. This service is not included in standard nutritionist-designed meal plans.
For subscribers on a Personalised Consultation plan managing food allergies, intolerances, or underlying medical conditions, all meal change requests must be routed exclusively through the Lettuce Eat nutrition team — and not made independently through self-service meal selection tools.
Unilateral self-modifications by subscribers with known allergies or medical sensitivities may result in the inclusion of contraindicated ingredients. Lettuce Eat will not issue any compensation or replacement if adverse effects arise from self-made changes that bypassed our team's oversight.
Subscribers on standard (non-personalised) plans acknowledge that meals are prepared according to the nutritionist's standard plan structure. Ingredient-level customisations are not offered on standard plans, and no compensation will be issued for allergen-related concerns on such plans.
