This Refund and Cancellation Policy explains the circumstances under which you may cancel an order or request a refund for food products or services purchased through https://lettuceeat.in/ (the “Platform”).
Return & Refund Policy
All Lettuce Eat meal plans are governed by the refund and pause terms below. Please review your plan's conditions carefully before subscribing.

Plan-Specific Rules
3-Day Plan
- No pauses or schedule adjustments are permitted once the plan is active.
- No refund is applicable under any circumstances.
7-Day Plan
- One (1) pause is permitted. When taken, the plan validity extends to 9 days from the original start date.
- No refund is applicable under any circumstances.
14-Day Plan
- One (1) pause is permitted. When taken, the plan validity extends to 18 days from the original start date.
- No refund is applicable under any circumstances.
28-Day Plan
- Up to two (2) pauses are permitted. Total validity window is 34 days from the original start date.
- A refund is eligible only if requested within three (3) days of the plan start date and the meal delivered on Day 1 is found demonstrably unsatisfactory. The refund amount will be calculated exclusive of applicable GST.
42-Day Plan
- Up to three (3) pauses are permitted. Total validity window is 50 days from the original start date.
- A refund is eligible only if requested within three (3) days of the plan start date and the meal delivered on Day 1 is found demonstrably unsatisfactory. The refund amount will be calculated exclusive of applicable GST.
Refund Eligibility: Refunds are available exclusively on the 28-Day and 42-Day plans, only where the refund is requested within three (3) days of plan commencement and the Day 1 meal is demonstrably not up to standard. Refund amounts are calculated net of GST. Refunds are not applicable on 3-Day, 7-Day, or 14-Day (trial/starter) plans under any circumstances.
Standard Deduction Terms (28-Day & 42-Day Plans)
Where a refund is approved, the following deductions apply:
- A per-meal charge of ₹300 or the actual per-meal price paid — whichever is greater — will be deducted for every meal consumed up to the date of the refund request.
- A one-time Dietician Consultation Fee of ₹2,500 (non-refundable) will be deducted, covering the cost of the two-week personalised meal plan designed by our in-house dietician.
- A Nutritional Plan Fee of ₹1,500 (non-refundable) will also be deducted, covering detailed macro structuring and nutritional documentation for your plan.
Any eligible refund will be credited to the original bank account within 2–3 working days from approval. Refunds are not applicable on à-la-carte orders or trial/starter packs, nor where kitchen operations are suspended due to events beyond our control (natural disasters, lockdowns, government-mandated shutdowns).
Pause Policy
Subscribers wishing to pause an active plan must notify the Lettuce Eat support team at least 24 hours prior to the intended pause date. Pause requests submitted with less than 24 hours' notice cannot be guaranteed and will be accommodated only on a best-effort basis. Meals dispatched before a pause request is processed will not be replaced or credited.
